Charges for proofreading and translating services as at 1st July 2014 are:


£0.05/per English word (STANDARD 21 day service for documents from 1 - 5999 English words; surplus to 6000 English words charged at £0.06/per English word)

£0.06/per English word (10 day RAPID delivery plus any manuscripts over 6000 English words, where this rate will apply for each word over the 6000 English word limit)


Payment methods:

1. FAST and EASY PAYMENT CAN NOW BE MADE USING YOUR CREDIT CARD AND THE ‘PAY NOW’ BUTTON ON THIS ‘CHARGES’ page of this WEBSITE. YOU MUST INCLUDE THE TRANSINICA JOB REFERENCE NUMBER AS PART OF THIS PROCESS.

2. Individual IBAN payments may be made via your local bank in accordance with the details on your signed invoice. Please note that this may incur a charge at your bank, for which you are liable; in addition, an £18GBP IBAN bank charge fee may be added to your invoice.

In using individual IBAN payments, please take care to demand that your bank includes in all transfer documents the Transinica Job Number and the full name of the corresponding author of the edited article. These are verification items and so are vitally important.

3. In addition, paper cheques may easily be used for direct payments ('a bill of payment' or standard 支票) can be used following the amount expressed on the invoice (these cheques must be remitted in pounds sterling GBP through your bank). These can easily be posted to the UK. Please note that this may incur a charge from your bank, for which you are responsible; in addition a £10GBP (approximately 100RMB) charge will be added to your invoice to cover the banking charge for cashing international cheques in the UK.


A translation service is also available. This is charged at £90/1000 Chinese characters, to include any English lettering and numbers within the text. All other details of this service are THE SAME as for the copy-editing service, except that rapid delivery is charged at £120/1000 Chinese characters. In ALL payment instances, the customer will need to communicate with transinica to establish preferred payment method. Customers are invited to settle invoices with 21 days of issuance. Emails can always be addressed to transinica1@gmail.com, and we welcome all enquiries
